Most approaches to healing begin with what is wrong. The Compassion Cultivation Cycle begins somewhere different — with the radical premise that nothing about you is broken.

Every behavior, every response, every way you have learned to move through the world is a Sophisticated Adaptation — an intelligent answer to the conditions you were given. The CCC does not ask you to fix or eliminate these adaptations. It asks you to understand them, honor them, and from that understanding, find your way toward Compassion Embodied — an internalized sense of compassion available within your nervous system at any given time. In the midst of joy and in the midst of pain.

Sustainable change comes from learning to discern Intuitive Knowing from fear-based responses — and to strengthen trust in your sensory wisdom.

Embody Your Authenticity

A living spiral, not a linear path.

The Compassion Cultivation Cycle is a six-phase, evidence-informed framework emerging from twenty years of clinical practice, study, and lived experience. It maps the journey from disconnection to embodied self-compassion — not as a linear path, but as a living spiral that deepens with each return.

Underpinning the cycle is the Inner Prism™ — a framework for understanding your inner world as a dynamic, multi-dimensional constellation of aspects, each shaped by temperament and experience, each deserving of curiosity rather than correction.

The mechanism of change is Co-Compassion — the process by which another nervous system's compassionate presence becomes internalized, gradually building what we call Compassion Embodied: a trustworthy, embodied relationship with your own inner wisdom. Paving the way for intuition, rather than fear, to guide you.

Built From the Inside Out.

The CCC™ is not a single-modality approach. It is a synthesis — drawing on Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, EMDR, Somatic Awareness, Compassion Research, and Kinship Ecology — unified through a Wholeness Perspective that begins from sufficiency rather than deficit.

It was not built in a classroom. It was built blending research with lived experience. That includes professional experience in prisons, community mental health centers, hospitals, and group homes. And personal experience engaging in homestays with indigenous communities across the globe and spending significant time in relationship with the natural world. The data is lived. The model is what came through.

For the Seeker and the Practitioner.

The CCC™ speaks to two audiences and honors both equally.

The Seeker — anyone seeking a deeper relationship with themselves, their bodies, and the living world. You do not need a clinical background to walk this path. This work restores your nervous system and brings you into presence and builds enduring self-compassion. It expands your Window of Receptivity, helping life unfold with more ease, and it offers a pathway to access your Intuitive Knowing.

The Practitioner — clinicians, coaches, and wellness professionals seeking a non-pathologizing, interdisciplinary framework to bring into their work with others. You will leave with evidence-informed tools, alongside your own embodied experience of the model, bringing a breadth of understanding to your practice and your life.
